The Popote restaurant closed its doors last December to make way for culinary workshops. These are convivial moments and, for a professional like me, true opportunities for sharing and culinary connection.

Today, I’m introducing a new concept where friendliness and togetherness remain the guiding principles of such an event.

It’s scheduled for May 16th — just a few days before The Popote’s 10th anniversary.

I invite you to an evening full of activities, a blend between a cooking workshop and restaurant-style service.

On the program:

Act 1: A homemade welcome aperitif.

Act 2: A host’s table set specially for the occasion awaits you. Choose your seat among the 14 available places. This evening is a great opportunity to meet fellow food lovers and share ideas and conversations.

Act 3: But before sitting down, join in the final preparations — plating each course as it comes out. It’s a complete, seasonal and surprise menu meant to nourish you. Table service is within your reach if you’re willing to give it a try by my side. You'll see — it can be fun!

Act 4

Scene 1: Let’s discover the wines chosen to pair with the menu. The selection will be guided by the expert advice of a professional wine merchant. We collaborate with this expert every last Friday of the month for a playful and sensory wine experience.

Scene 2: I’ll walk you through the menu and the ingredients I used — including our house-made spices and condiments.

Act 5: Time to sit down and enjoy! Let’s move on to the first course, then the next — with or without your help. Participation is not required.

INTERMISSION

A little surprise game.

Act 6: Dessert is served and the show comes to an end. I can hang up my apron!

Let’s stay together a bit longer — your feedback will be my greatest reward.

Please plan to stay at least 2 hours and make sure to register in advance — for yourself or with friends. Registration is simple and just a little further down the page.

To find out more, feel free to call me Monday to Saturday during business hours.
