My herbal tea is composed of an ancient Balkan plant of the genus "Sideritis", known as "mountain tea" or "ironwort". It grows at high altitudes in the mountains and on the moist soils of high-altitude pastures, above 1,500 m.
Its botanical name comes from the Greek "siderros", meaning "iron", which it contains in large quantities (200 mg / kg). Ancient medicine attributed to it the power to heal wounds and cure various ailments.
The decoction of the plant is soft and slightly sweet. I have enhanced it with 3 distinct flavors to form a round and generous herbal tea.
Heat the water to 100° and let it infuse for 10 minutes to benefit from all the qualities of the mixture. By preparing a large quantity of my herbal tea, you can also enjoy it as a cold drink.
