Ingredients: Okinawa black sugar (Made in Japan), organic sesame, organic onion, yuzu zest, edible seaweed, organic ginger rhizome, dried fish, home-smoked organic shitake (Lentinula edodes).

"Furikaké" means "to sprinkle" in Japanese.
This popular Japanese condiment inspired me to create a sweet blend. I combined seafood, a few spices and Okinawan black sugar, a soft sugar made from black molasses and sugar cane.
Its flavor, added to the main ingredients, makes it a spice appreciated by children and adults alike, who enjoy it sprinkled over white rice, noodles, potato or sweet potato fries.
